The largest and the most emblematic estate in the Lalande de Pomerol appellation
Château Siaurac
Château Siaurac is situated on an extension of the Pomerol plateau at Néac in Lalande de Pomerol. With 46 hectares, almost in one single block, Château Siaurac is both the largest and the most emblematic estate in the appellation.
Mentioned in the 1893 edition of Féret, Château Siaurac is only separated from the first great growths of Pomerol by a tiny trickle of water called the Barbane.
The vineyard is made up of 75% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Malbec.
The beautiful 19th century château itself is a classified historic monument, surrounded by 200-year old trees in a landmark park and endowed with the label “Jardin Remarquable”.
